Be sure to get your tickets for the MHR Day at the Races II, Saturday, June 25th at Canterbury Park from 11am to 4pm!
Our festivities are being held in partnership with Canterbury Park to raise the funds necessary to enable us to continue offering our Equine‐Assisted Therapies to Injured Armed Forces Personnel, Active Duty, and Veterans in Rehabilitation, free of charge, and Children & Young Adults with Special Needs at a reasonable cost.
This will be an unforgettable afternoon of first-rate company, delicious food, a silent auction with incredible items to bid on, exciting racing & great fun for all! Come out and show your support for Majestic Hills Ranch.
To purchase tickets or make an event donation please contact Larry at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit http://www.majestichillsranch.myevent.com/
We look forward to seeing you there!
The winter was a difficult one, but all the horses got really fuzzy and successfully got through it! We are all looking forward to green grass, leaves budding on the trees, and the spring ritual of... mud! Soon all of the horses will be brown with mud, but that will be appreciated by all.
Paperwork has gone out to riders and volunteers and I am currently scheduling classes for all 3 sessions. If you have a child that is riding this year, please turn in your paperwork as soon as you can, for classes are filling up quickly. If you are a volunteer - we are definitely in need of more help for every class, so recruit your friends!
We are excited for the addition of some new help this year in our classes. With the new season, we will have Jen returning to teach Mondays at 5:30 and 7 pm; Tuesday evenings will have Laura Peterson teaching the 5:30 and 7 pm classes under my supervision as she finishes up preparing for her PATH certification; Brenda will hopefully be returning for Wednesday evening classes, depending on her schedule; and Thursdays will have myself with the help of teaching assistants Gay U. and Sue A. I will also be teaching the 4pm classes on Mondays and Tuesdays - and the morning classes in the summer. Molly will be out again this year, but graciously offered to be a teaching substitute if we were in need. We also have Mary S. coming to help as barn aide for the Monday evening classes and as our pilot program instructor in the summer for groundwork with her miniature horse, Riley.
To save postage this year, we are going to try and do more electronic communication with everyone. That means emailing instead of postage, sending out electronic newsletters, and online fundraisers. Please make sure if you are interested in receiving information that we have your current and correct email address. You can email me any corrections or to be added to our contact list.
