Majestic Hills RANCH & COVID-19 in 2022

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Majestic Hills Ranch did not open as anticipated in May of 2020 and had to cancel it's in person fundraisers that year.  We were able to open for limited classes in the summer and fall with rider stipulations - and we are continuing with those guidelines into 2022.

Majestic Hills Ranch (MHR) will be opening our classes this winter and then beginning classes in spring for the 2022 riding season with the following stipulations.

We are starting to have community volunteers help with sidewalking again.  If a rider needs a lot of hands on assistance, we may ask parents or caregivers to assist.

We ask our riders and their families to follow these guidelines:
  • Only 1 parent or caregiver bring the rider each class and that siblings and guests are kept away.
  • Riders, parents, staff, and volunteers must wear a face mask (not a face shield) when in the community areas of the ranch.
  • When we are riding in the indoor arena, everyone entering the Clubhouse must wash their hands at the kitchenette sink or in the bathroom sink when arriving and leaving the facility.  Soap and towels will be at each station. (Please let staff know if either is running low or if the garbage is overflowing.)
Providing children (4 to under 18 years) and adults (over 18 years) with special needs the opportunity to achieve
a sense of freedom, accomplishment, and self-esteem while giving their families hope through
equine-assisted services and adaptive (formerly called therapeutic) riding.
Our mission is to also enrich and enhance the lives of injured Armed Forces personnel: Active Duty and Veterans in rehabilitation.
