My name is Londa Tushie. I was born and raised in the metro area. I have a BS in Fisheries & Wildlife Biology with a minor in Horticulture. I am a wife, a mom, and a grandma. My experience with equine assisted activities and therapies began after I purchased my first horse about 12 years ago. As an empty nester I wanted to give some time as a volunteer also, that is when I came across the program that covered my interest in horses and my love of children. I have volunteered in therapeutic riding programs at some capacity ever since. I have been Involved at MHR for about 6 years. I look forward to the increased level of involvement as Volunteer Coordinator.
